Season's Greetings
Happy Solstice, Happy Yule, Happy Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Yalda, Happy Saturnalia, Happy Boxing Day, Happy New Year, Happy Hogmanay, Happy Festivus, Happy Chrismahanukwanzakah,Happy Winter!Since the first day of Winter is fast approaching, we at Beautyspiration decided it was time for a simple challenge. Take (or find) a picture of something, someone, anything, anyone that makes this season beautiful to you. You can tell a story to go with the picture, or you can just post a picture. The only qualifier in this challenge is that the photo, or something in the photo should be beautiful, in some way, to you. I'll do it! Even though it may take me a while, because I'm leaving Monday to see my family.
http://xc9.xanga.com/16bf073618d32225627715/b177393175.jpg The story that related to this photo was about idiots on the road during a snowstorm....however where I took this photo made me feel like I was in a winter wonderland. I left at 9am with my camera the morning after we had a huge ice storm. The place where this was taken is at a preserve with waterfalls that is normally very busy with visitors. But on this morning I got the place to myself. It was quiet, beautiful, and untouched nature. It was one of my best mornings ever, and I got many beautiful photos that day - this was one of them.

I'll have to start uploading some of my SNOWMAGEDDON pictures. There's beauty in some of them, after all
